PEKAT GROUP BADMINTON TOURNAMENT 2026 Tournament Information & Regulations Tournament Format The tournament will be conducted using a Sudirman Cup-inspired team format. Each subsidiary is represented by one team. Total teams: 7. Players per team: 10. Team Composition Each team tie :- Men's Singles 1, Men's Singles 2, Men's Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and Women's Singles. The first team to secure 3 match victories win the tie. Import Player Rule Each team may register up to 2 import players from other subsidiaries. Import players must be declared during registration and listed in the official roster. Team Captain Responsibilities Each team must appoint a Team Captain to communicate with tournament officials and submit line-ups. Match Line-Up Submission Line-ups must be submitted at least 5 minutes before each round. Players cannot change categories once a round has started. Tournament Structure All 7 teams compete in a single group stage. Win = 3 points, Loss = 0 points. Top 4 teams advance to the knockout stage. Tie-Breaker Rules 1. Least Matches Played to Secure Round Victories 2. Head-to-Head Result 3. Tournament Committee Decision Knockout Stage Semi-Finals: 1st vs 4th, 2nd vs 3rd. Winners advance to the Final. Group Stage Scoring Single game to 21 points. Change court at 11 points. Deuce applies at 20-20. Win by 2 points. Knockout Stage Scoring Best of 3 games to 15 points. Deuce applies at 14-14. Win by 2 points. No court change during the third game. One-minute interval between games. Umpire Authority All umpire decisions are final.
